Week 15 Sleepers

Week 15 Sleepers NFL Fantasy Football

Week 15 Sleepers 2015 by Utter-Fantasy Writer & Illustrator Doug Bowles

Fantasy football owners have no more bye weeks to contend with for the rest of the season, but unfortunately many of them have injuries to key players that hurt them in Week 14. Hopefully the Week 15 Sleepers NFL Fantasy Football options will help owners recover from roster hits if you had from players such as SEA RB Thomas Rawls, CAR RB Jonathon Stewart or QB Andy Dalton to name a few. –  Good Luck this week

Quarterback Sleepers Week 15

CINN AJ McCarron ( at SF )-

In a game where he didn’t even expect to play, QB McCarron came in for injured QB A Dalton and threw for 28 yards and 2 TDs. He’ll be more than prepared Week 15 and has plenty of weapons- SF 6th worst vs the pass

DEN Brock Osweiler ( at PITT )-

Only the New York Giants give up more receiving yards to wide outs than the Pittsburgh Steelers. Additionally, since the Steelers are 6th best vs the run, it makes sense that QB Brock Osweiler will find it easier moving the offense thru the air, rather than on the ground

MIA Ryan Tannehill ( at SD )-

The Dolphins lost Week 14 to the #32 worst pass defense in the NFL, with QB Tannehill only passing for 234 yards and 1 TD. They were embarrassed at home and will want to do the same to the Chargers in San Diego- NOTE: SD QB Philip Rivers ought to be able to put up nice stats Week 15 against these Dolphins as well- Last week Eli threw 4 TD passes vs the Miami defense

Running Back Sleepers Week 15

JACK Denard Robinson (vs ATL )-

RB Denard Robinson is one of those players who you can just tell, that he loves to play football. When given the opportunity, Robinson almost always comes thru for his team, and fantasy football owners. He came in Week 14 and had 87 total yards and 1 TD

SEA Bryce Brown ( vs CLEV )

SEA Bryce Brown (vs CLEV )- Newly acquired RB Bryce Brown would be a full-fledged “Start Em” Week 15, but as we know, only the coaching staff knows 100% right now who the #1 running back will be. Seattle cut RB DuJuan Harris, but have RBs Fred Jackson & C Michael also ready to run in RB Marshawn Lynch’s absense- NOTE: Here’s what I don’t like about C Michael- Dallas acquired him from Seattle in Sept for 7th Rd draft pick- Dallas waived Nov. 17th. WASH acquired Nov.19th. WASH waived Dec 15th. SEA signs Dec 16th. No one wanted him for long!

NYJ Bilal Powell ( at DAL)-

RB Chris Ivory’s handcuff- Recommended Week 14 Waiver Wire Week 14- LINK– ended Week 14 with 82 total yards and 1 TD

Wide Receiver Sleepers Week 15

Malcolm Floyd ( vs MIA)-

WR Floyd is the only healthy wide receiver in San Diego right now, and had 9 targets in Week 14. One was a “drop” that would have gone for a long touchdown. SD WR Dontrelle Inman (neck) is practicing in full for Week 15 and  is ready to start opposite Malcom Floyd against the Dolphins. Miami has one of the worst secondaries in the league, so Inman can also be considered a “sleeper” in deeper leagues

CAR Devin Funchess (at NYG)–

This rookie only has 22 receptions on the year, and will be asked to step it up in the playoffs,. What a great opportunity this would be for the Carolina Panthers here to give him a ton of targets vs the worst pass defense in the NFL

TB Adam Humphries/Donteea Dye (at ST L)-

Deep League Sleepers: Someone has to step up for WR Vincent Jackson ( OUT Week 15, and perhaps for the season) WR Adam Humphries (5’11”) has 20 receptions this season- 1 TD. WR Donteea Dye ( 6’0″) has 5 receptions this season- 1 TD.

Tight End Sleepers Week 15

CHI Zach Miller (at MINN)-

CHI Zach Miller (at MINN)- TE Martellus Bennett is OUT for the season, and CHI QB Jay Cutler always likes to hit his tight ends, which is Zach Miller now. Week 14, 5 catches for 85 yards and 1 TD- Only owned in 3% of Yahoo leagues

GB Richard Rodgers ( at OAK)

A “Recommended Start Week 14- LINK– TE Rodgers only had 1 reception Week 14, but it was for a touchdown- 2 TDs in his past 2 games, and the Raiders are one of the worst teams in the NFL defending tight ends

NYG Will Tye (vs CAR)-

A “Recommended Sleeper” Week 14- LINK– 30 yards and 1 TD pass. TE Larry Donnell (neck) hasn’t seen the field since Week 8, so TE Tye has filled in for him. Tye has 30 targets from QB Eli Manning in the past 5 games

Defense Sleeper Week 15

 JACK ( vs ATL) –

The Falcons and QB Matt Ryan are playing as bad as any team in the NFL right now. QB M Ryan only has 2 TD passes in his past 3 games

HOU (at IND)-

QB Matt Hasselbeck is so beat up, that the Colts weren’t even sure if he could play this week. RB Frank Gore is also beat up, but he’s a warrior and will never sit. That said, he’s not doing much and Houston will make it even less
