Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 2

Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 2 by Utter-Fantasy Writer & Illustrator Doug Bowles

Keenan Allen suffered a torn right ACL Sunday in Week 1 against the Chiefs. It is a tough blow for the Chargers and for fantasy football owners of Allen. Bad news out of Buffalo, where WR Sammy Watkins (foot) “could be shut down for several weeks” because of “severe discomfort” in his surgically-repaired foot. NFL injuries are inevitable, and fantasy football owners must roll with the punches and use the waiver wire to survive losses to their rosters and to improve them.

First Bye Week is in Week 4: GB-PHIL

Quarterbacks Waiver Wire Week 2

NE Jimmy Garropolo- If you got BUFF QB Tyrod Taylor in any of your drafts, his 15-of-22 passes for 111 yards and 0 touchdowns in Week 1 likely gave you reason to regret that pick. It’s also looking like Taylor has lost his main weapon in WR Sammy Watkins. Garroplo on the other hand produced 264 passing yards and one touchdown on 24-of-33 passing while contributing four rushes for 12 yards in the Patriots’ Week 1 win over the Cardinals. He has 3 more starts.

HOU Brock Osweiler- The new Houston quarterback is getting more comfortable every week, and has plenty of weapons. He completed 22-of-35 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns in Week 1.

Deep leagues….CLEV QB Josh McCown- Horrible news for the Browns…placing QB Robert Griffin III on injured reserve with a broken bone in his non-throwing shoulder.

Running Backs Waiver Wire Week 2

KC RB Spencer Ware- Utter-Fantasy’s #1 sleeper for Week 1, and Ware produced in a big way. RB J Charles still is not close to starting.

DET RB Theo Riddick- Another succesful sleeper pick  Utter-Fantasy in Week 1. Theo Riddick rushed seven times for 45 yards and a touchdown and caught 5-of-5 targets for 63 yards and another touchdown in the Lions’ Week 1 win over the Colts.

TB RB Charle Sims- The very quiet #21 RB for 2015, with over 1000 total yards and 4 TDs. Charles Sims rushed four times for nine yards, but caught 3-of-3 targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs’ Week 1 win over Atlanta.

SD RB Danny Woodhead- With WR Keeenan Allen out, Woodhead should see even more action- Only owned in 78% of Yahoo leagues.

CLEV RB Isaiah Crowell- Many fantasy football owners drafted RB Duke Johnson before Crowell, which may have been a mistake. Duke is better in the passing game, where Crowell is a better pounder and likely to get more goal line carries. Only owned in 59% of Yahoo leagues.

ATL Tevin Coleman- Unfortunately for RB Devonta Freeman owners, it looks like an equal split of touches in Atlanta. ( they lost to Tampa in Week 1, so it’s not a formula that worked) Until they commit to Freeman, Coleman is a real option,  rushing eight times for 22 yards and caught 5-of-6 targets for 95 yards.

deep leagues- JACK RB Denard Robinson- RB Chris Ivory’s injury looks serious. We don’t know much, but if Ivory is out for an extended period of time, someone has to help RB T J Yeldon’s workload.

Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Week 2

NO WR Willie Snead– Utter-Fantasy’s #1 waiver wire wide out going into Week 2. Snead caught 9-of-9 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown in New Orleans’ Week 1 loss to the Raiders. With the Saints likely down in every game due to their bad defense, Snead could be a good option on a weekly basis. Only owned in 80% of Yahoo leagues.

ATL Mohamed Sanu- Utter-Fantasy predicted prior to the regular season that Sanu could see 80-90+ targets in 2016. In Week 1, Sanu had 8 targets/ 5 catches for 80 yards and 1 TD, including a two-point conversion reception. ( Note: Mohamed Sanu was seen by reporters “limping heavily” following Sunday’s loss)

CAR Ted Ginn Jr– You did not see it much in Week 1, but Ted Ginn Jr (the #25 WR for 2015) is still a big part of this offense.

HOU Tajae Sharpe- Although he did not score in Week 1, Sharpe made some fantasy football owners in PPR leagues. Sharpe hauled in 7-of-11 targets for 76 yards in Week 1.

NE Chris Hogan- The Pat’s new wide out caught 3/4 targets for 60 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Patriots’ Week 1 win over the Cardinals. He is the clear #2 behind WR Edleman. Only owned in 31% of Yahoo leagues.

SD WR Tyrell Williams- Someone has to step up for the Chargers with WR Allen out, and Williams is a big receiver…6’4″ and 205 lbs. He caught 2/5 targets for 71 yards in the Chargers’ Week 1 loss to the Chiefs.

PITT WR Eli Rogers- An Utter-Fantasy “Sleeper” for Week 1 who found the endzone in Week 1nad who was targeted a lot.

Other decent candidates- deep leagues

NYJ WR Quincy Enunwa- Keep an eye on this guy. Huge part of the Jet’s offense in the preseason, and had 7 catches in Week 1 for 54 yards and 1 TD.

CINN  Brandon LaFell- Fantasy football owners were not sure about Lafell, because he played so little of the preseason. LaFell played 55/57 snaps Week 1 against the Jets…11 more than rookie Tyler Boyd. He is clearly the No. 2 option in the passing game with Tyler Eifert (ankle) sidelined.

Tight Ends Waiver Wire Week 2

SF TE Vance McDonald- An Utter-Fantasy “Start Em” who found the endzone in Week 1. QB B Gabbert  relies on McDonald a lot, so perhaps fantasy football owners can as well.

DET TE Eric Ebron- As a Lion’s fan, I am still sizzling from Detroit’s selection of TE Eric Ebron in the 2014 NFL Draft, passing on WRs Odell Beckham Jr, Brandon Cooks and Kelvin Benjamin, to name a few. Ebron however, is staying healthy and becoming a part of the offense. 5/5 targets for 46 yards and a TD in Week 1 ( which may be his ceiling)

PITT TE Jesse James- After one week, the Steelers receiving corps pecking order looks like WR Antonio Brown ( duh), WR Eli Rogers, TE Jesse James and WR Sammie Coates

DEN TE Virgil Green- 5 targets in Week 1

PHIL TE Brent Celek- The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Zach Berman reports Zach Ertz (ribs) could miss an “extended period.”

Deep league IND TE Jack Doyle– We know QB Andrew Luck is used to having 2 TEs as weapons. In Week 1, Doyle caught 3/4 targets for 35 yards, 2 of them going for TDs. ( I won’t expect 2 TDs again however)

Deep Deep league JACK TE Marcedes Lewis- Perhaps more trusted by QB B Bortles than in #3 WR Marqise Lee. Lewis had 2 receptions for 48 yards but also caught on of QB Bortles TD passes.

Week 14 Sleepers NFL Fantasy Football

Week 14 Sleepers 2015 by Utter-Fantasy Writer & Illustrator Doug Bowles

Fantasy football owners have no more bye weeks to contend with for the rest of the season, but unfortunately many of them have injuries to key players that hurt them in Week 13. Hopefully the Week 14 Sleepers NFL Fantasy Football options will help owners recover from roster hits if you had from players such as NO RB Mark Ingram, CHI TE Matellus Bennett or any of the Charger WRs to name a few. –  Good Luck this week

Quarterback Sleepers Week 14

KC Alex Smith ( vs SD )-

1st time he’s been here! The Chargers are playing terrible and barely have a team, after so many key injuries to their roster. Also, Smith won’t hurt you with INTs. He hasn’t thrown one since Week 3

DEN Brock Osweiler ( vs OAK )-

The Raiders are better defending the run than they are defending the pass. QB Osweiler is getting more comfortable with his receivers every week, especially Demaryius Thomas, who has 2 TD passes in the past 3 games

HOU Brian Hoyer (vs NE )–

It’s a pretty safe guess to assume that the Texans will be playing from behind in this one, so QB Hoyer could 43 pass attempts like he did in Week 13 vs a tough defense like Buffalo has. Hoyer has thrown for at least 2 TDs in all the games he’s played in except 2, and hasnt thrown more than 1 INT in any of them

Running Back Sleepers Week 14

SF Shaun Draughn (at CLEV)-

“Sleeper” Recommendation Week 13- LINK– and he satisfied more than a Snickers candy bar can, with 86 total yards and 1 TD. He faces the Browns who are 2nd worst in the NFL at defending the run

DET Ameer Abdullah (at STL )-

This one is a stretch I’ll grant you, but the Rams are downright awful of late, and maybe….just maybe…that DET head coach has figured out to give the ball to Abdullah more. RB Abdullah has had 41 carries over the past 3 weeks, by far most on the team

NO CJ Spiller ( at TB)-

It pains me some to put him here, because hes a talented back who has burned fantasy football owners plenty, but RB Mark Ingram’s season ending injury opens the door for Spiller to finally do what we know he can. It could be RB Tim Hightower who takes over, we don’t know yet, but it makes sense to me to think Spiller does, having already worked with QB Brees all season

Wide Receiver Sleepers Week 14

MIA DeVante Parker ( vs BALT)-

WR DeVante Parker was a “Sleeper” Recommendation Week 13- LINK– and it turned out to be a good call-63 yards and 1 TD and his TD reception in the 2nd qtr made highlight reels. Parker plays the NY Ginats at home Week 14, who are dead last vs the pass

CAR Devin Funchess (at N.O.)-

The Panthers announced that they are sitting anyone, despite having a 12-0 record. If they are true to their word, then what a great opportunity for QB Can newton to get the rookie more action and experience before the playoffs, against the worst pass defense in the NFL

PITT Markus Wheaton (vs CINN)–

QB Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers talked up WR Markus Wheaton in the preseason, then forget about him in the regular season. He has come on in the past 2 games, racking up 251 yards receiving and 2 TDs. The Steelers are facing the Bengals in Cincinnatii who are tough against the run, not so tough vs the pass

Tight End Sleepers Week 14

NE Scott Chandler (at HOU )-

If you read my “Sleepers” from Week 12-LINK–  ( and Week 13) TE S Chandler might already be on your roster. Chandler was a nice part of the offense Week 12 before Gronk’s injury. No one really knows how long Gronk will need to nurse his knee injury, but he has stated that he won’t return until he’s 100 percent healthy. Chandler will be a vital part of the NE offense for a few weeks

TB Austin Seferian-Jenkins ( vs N.O.)-

In his 1st game back from injury, TE Seferian-Jenkins immediately got 6 targets from QB J Winston, and that was from just playing 21-of-71 snaps Week 13. He will get even more Week 14

NYG Will Tye (at MIA)-

TE Larry Donnell (neck) hasn’t seen the field since Week 8, so TE Tye has filled in for him. If you saw the game Week 13, you saw that Tye has some pretty good hands, hauling in 3 receptions for 70 yards- He has 25 targets from QB Eli Manning in the past 4 games

Defense Sleeper Week 14

SF (at CLEV)–

The Browns are starting Manziel this week, and as usual, there are those who think this guy is already great, even though his on-field and off-field record has been anything but. The 49res defense is better than it gets credit for

GB (vs DAL)–

The Cowboys have no choice but to run out QB Matt Cassel, who hasn’t thrown for 300 yards in any game, and who has only thrown 1 TD pass since Week 9

Start Em Sit Em Week 14 2015

Start Em Sit Em Week 14 2015 by Utter-Fantasy Writer & Illustrator Doug Bowles

Like other fantasy football prognosticators, below are my Start Em Sit Em Week 14 NFL Fantasy Football players, minus the obvious. ( No one needs to read that I think fantasy owners should start Seattle’s QB Russell Wilson vs the sieve that is the Baltimore pass defense ) For the Record- I don’t claim to have anymore insight on the games than the fantasy league owners reading these, but I do enjoy sharing my “IMOs” on them, as well as reading yours-  Good Luck this week

Quarterbacks Start Em Week 14

MIA Ryan Tannehill ( vs NYG )- New York is the worst team vs the pass, but average vs the run, so Miami should throw a lot if they want to beat the Giants

JACK Blake Bortles (vs IND)–  QB Bortles is proving to be “match-up” proof. He had a tough match up Week 13, but still threw for over 300 yards and tossed 5 touchdown passes. He is playing at a very high level

TB Jameis Winston (vs N.O.) –QB Winston has plenty of good weapons around him, and the Saints can’t cover any of them

Sleeper Start Em Week 14- DEN Brock Osweiler ( vs OAK )- The Raiders are better defending the run than they are defending the pass. QB Osweiler is getting more comfortable with his receivers every week, especially Demaryius Thomas, who has 2 TD passes in the past 3 games

Sleeper Start Em Week 14- KC Alex Smith ( vs SD )- 1st time he’s been here! The Chargers are playing terrible and barely have a team, after so many key injuries to their roster. Also, Smith won’t hurt you with INTs. He hasn’t thrown one since Week 3

Start Em Week 14 No Brainers- Cam Newton vs ATL…..PITT B Roethlisberger vs IND

Running Backs Start Em Week 14

MIA Lamar Miller (vs NYG)- New OC Zac Taylor started his new job by announcing that the Dolphins would be “re-committed” to the run. Miller rushed for 100+ yards in Week 13, and should have that many in Week 14

Thomas Rawls (vs BALT )- I bet RB Marshawn Lynch would have liked to play in this game! The Seahawks will have the ball a lot, so Rawls will probably get as many carries as he can take

SF Shaun Draughn (at CLEV )- RB S Draughn played well the past 3 games, even though he was facing 3 tough defenses. Now he gets an easy one- The Cleveland Browns- 2nd worst defending the run

Start Em Week 14 Sleeper- DET Ameer Abdullah (at STL )- This one is a stretch I’ll grant you, but the Rams are awful right now, and maybe….just maybe…that DET head coach has figured out to give the ball to Abdullah more

Start Em Sit Em Week 14 NFL No Brainers- PHIL LeSean McCoy ( at PHIL )….CAR Jonathan Stewart ( vs ATL)

Wide Receivers Start Em Week 14

TB Mike Evans & Vincent Jackson ( vs N.O.)- The New Orleans Saints are dead last in total defense, and only the New York Giants are worst at defending the pass

MIA Jarvis Landry & Devante Parker ( vs NYG)- With the injury to WR Rishard Matthews, gave WR D Parker the start opposite WR Landry Week 13, and his TD catch in the 2nd qtr made highlight reels. The New York Giants are LAST defending the pass

CAR Ted Ginn Jr (at N.O.)- The Panthers announced that they are sitting anyone, despite having a 12-0 record. If they are true to their word, then WR Ginn should get plenty of targets and score for you Week 14

SEA Doug Baldwin (vs BALT)- With TE Jimmy Graham going down (OUT for the season), Baldwin has stepped it up in a big way- 240 yards and 5 TDs, in the past 2 games

KC Jeremy Maclin (vs SD)- I think WR Maclin is finally having fun this season ( 255 yards and 3 TDs, in the past 2 games) and the Chargers are the perfect team to help him have even more fun

Start Em Sit Em Week 14 No Brainers- JACK Allen Robinson vs IND…..A J Green (vs PITT)

Tight Ends Start Em Week 14

NE Scott Chandler (vs PHIL)- If you read Utter-Fantasy’s “Start Em” Week 13- LINK-, you would have scored  TE Scott Chandler on your fantasy football team. With Gronk OUT again Week 14, Chandler is a must start again

GB Richard Rodgers ( vs DAL)- Even before his “Hail Mary” 61 yard TD reception which ended the game Week 13 vs Detroit Lame-os…TE Rodgers had 85 receiving yards on 7 receptions. QB Aaron Rodgers will continue to look for TE Rodgers, especially with WR Davante Adams dropping almost every pass thrown his way lately

WASH Jordan Reed (at CHI)- 25 targets from QB Kirk Cousins in the past 3 games. Note however, that the Bears are 4th best at defending the TE position

Start Em Sleeper TB Austin Seferian-Jenkins ( vs N.O.)- In his 1st game back from injury, TE Seferian-Jenkins immediately got 6 targets from QB J Winston, and that was from just playing 21-of-71 snaps Week 13. He will get even more Week 14

Start Em Sleeper NYG Will Tye (at MIA)- TE Larry Donnell (neck) hasn’t seen the field since Week 8, so TE Tye has filled in for him. If you saw the game Week 13, you saw that Tye has some pretty good hands, hauling in 3 receptions for 70 yards- He has 25 targets from QB Eli Manning in the past 4 games

Start Em Sit Em Week 14 No Brainer- G Olsen (vs ATL)…JACK Julius Thomas ( vs IND)……KC T Kelce (vs SD)

Here’s a great link for rankings of NFL Teams vs the TE positionLINK

Defense Start Em Week 14

DET ( at STL)- Over the last 4 weeks, the Rams have averaged just 9.0 points per game and have 10 turn overs in the same span as well. QB Nick Foles is playing as bad as anyone at the position right now- (completing 15/35 passes for 146 yards and 1 INT in Week 13) so all defenses have to do is stack the box against RB T Gurley

KC (vs SD)– Few teams are as beat up as the Chargers are right now, and QB Rivers has gone from being the top fantasy passer for fantasy football owners to 0 TD passes in 2 of his past 3 games

SF (at CLEV)The Browns are starting Manziel this week, and as usual, there are those who think this guy is already great, even though his on-field and off-field record has been anything but. The 49res defense is better than it gets credit for

Start Em Sit Em Week 14 No Brainers- SEA Defense at BALT….CAR Defense vs ATL

HERE’S A GREAT LINK TO ANALYZE DEFENSES- LINK

Quarterbacks Sit Em Week 14

MINN Teddy Bridgewater (at ARI)- The easy part here is because the Vikings are playing the Cardinals, but regardless of who Minnesota is playing, QB Bridgewater is not playing very good. He is not a quarterback that will help you win in fantasy football Week 14. Only 3 TD passes in the past 6 games

SD Philip Rivers ( at KC )– The Chiefs defense is playing at a high level again and Rivers has gone from being the top fantasy passer for fantasy football owners to 0 TD passes in 2 of his past 3 games- UPDATE: Reports out of San Diego has Rivers with sever flu symptoms- He’ll likely play, but he won’t do much

OAK Derek Carr ( vs DEN)- Now isn’t the time for fantasy football owners to start a quarterback against the #1 pass defense in the NFL

ATL Matt Ryan ( vs CAR)- The Falcons have lost 5 straight and QB Ryan is one of the reasons for certain. Ryan has thrown more INTs ( 3) in the past 2 games than TD passes (2)

Sit Em Week 14 No Brainers- BALT Matt Schaub ( vs SEA)…….ST L Nick Foles  vs DET…..CLEV Manziel vs SF

Running Backs Sit Em Week 14

HOU RB Alfred Blue (vs NE)- Here’s what HC Belichick does….he takes away your #1 RB ( A Blue)…your #1 WR ( D Hopkins) and forces you to beat them with whoever is left

OAK Latavius Murray (at DEN)– To start with, Murray has under 60 yards rushing in 3 of his past 4 games, and has scored only 5 touchdowns all season. The Broncos are the 2nd overall defense and 5th vs the run

STL Todd Gurley (vs DET )-  A “Sit Em” Week 13- LINK– and a “Sit Em” again Week 14. Gurley has only 18 carries over the past 2 games for 60 yards- 0 TDs

BALT Javorius Allen (vs SEA )-  You have to love what RB Allen has done since getting the starting gig, but that was against the Rams, Browns and Dolphins. You won’t love him against the Seahawks defense

SD Melvin Gordon (vs KC)– Same write up as Week 13, just playing a different team. A “preseason favorite” of mine is turning out to be a bust of the “Trent Richardson” variety. ZERO TDs in 2015…….I repeat….ZERO TDs in 2015

Sit Em Week 14 No Brainer- NYG R Jennings ( at MIA)….NO CJ Spiller ( at TB)

Wide Receivers Sit Em Week 14

OAK Amari Cooper (at DEN)- The #1 pass defense will shut down Cooper Week 14

TENN Dorial Green-Beckham ( at NYJ )- Fantasy Football owners likely took notice of DGB’s Week 13 stat-line…..5/119 yards and 1 TD, and made him a hot waiver wire commodity. I myself, would have to see more than one flukey week and DGB is playing the Jets this week with Darrelle Revis (concussion) back practicing Thursday. You should look elsewhere

SD Malcolm Floyd ( at KC) – As practically the only healthy wide receiver left on the Chargers roster, the Chiefs won’t have a hard time deciding who to shut down

NOTE: I am also concerned about ATL Julio Jones Week 14- QB Matt Ryan is playing his worst football ever, and Atlanta plays in Carolina vs the red hot Panthers

NOTE: I am also concerned about HOU DeAndre Hopkins– see notes on- Running Backs Sit Em Week 14- HOU RB Alfred Blue

Sit Em No Brainers week 14- MINN St Diggs/ Mike Wallace ( at ARI)…..BALT Kamar Aiken ( vs SEA)

Tight Ends Sit Em Week 14

BALT Crockett Gillmore( vs SEA )- It’s just going to be a tough day for all the Ravens Week 14, especially playing for nothing but pride

DAL J Witten ( at GB)- When QB Tony Romo is starting, TE Witten is a good fantasy football option. When QB Matt Cassel is starting, TE Witten is a bad fantasy football option

CHI Zack Miller ( vs WASH) Maybe with TE Martellus Bennett OUT for the season….Miller steps it up and produces, but Washington is one of the best team vs the TE position.

Sit Em No Brainer Week 14 DEN Vernon Davis ( vs OAK)

Defense Sit Em Week 14

SAN DIEGO Defense ( at KC )-This page is riddled with Sit Em Chargers, so why shouldn’t their defense be here as well. Besides, QB Alex Smith hasn’t thrown an interception since Week 3

ATL Defense ( vs CAR)– The Panthers are 12-0 ecasue they are playing great, the Falcons are not

CLEV Defense ( vs SF )– Despite playing a team that isn’t very good ( the 49ers), the Browns shouldn’t be started Week 14. They are ranked #31 worst defense regardless of who they playing

Sit Em Defense Week 14 No Brainers- ATL (at CAR)……BALT ( vs SEA)

NFL Waiver Wire Week 14

NFL Waiver Wire Week 14 2015 By Utter-Fantasy Writer & Illustrator Doug Bowles

For once, many fantasy football owners didn’t wake up Monday morning Week 13, to find a bunch of their key players OUT for the season. In previous weeks, fantasy football owners had lost big name players such as SEA Marshawn Lynch, ARI Chris Johnson, SEA TE Jimmy Graham, IND RB Ahmad Bradshaw or DAL QB Tony Romo to name a few –  Therefore, the NFL Waiver Wire Week 14 isn’t loaded with a lot of names to help your fantasy team, but there are some good ones. Good Luck this week

Quarterbacks Waiver Wire Week 14

JACK Blake Bortles ( vs IND)- Bortles was a “Sit Em’ for me Week 13, and man did he proved me wrong. With WR Allen Hurns OUT, and taking on the Titans in Tennessee, I thought he’d struggle. Instead…he had 322 passing yards and 5 TDs. He has a great schedule going forward- IND-ATL-N.O. and HOU- Bortles is available in 28% of Yahoo leagues

NYJ Ryan Fitzpatrick ( vs TENN )- In Week 13, no quarterback threw for more yards than Jets Ryan Fitzpatrick. Only owned in 14% of Yahoo leagues, Fitz is available for many fantasy owners who took it on the chin from other QBs such as Tannehill, Rivers and Cutler (who aren’t helping anyone) In Week 13, the Titans gave up 322 yards and 5 TDs to JACK Blake Bortles

DEN Brock Osweiler (vs OAK)-  As long as QB Osweiler keeps winning …QB P Manning can stay on the sidelines and heal some more. QB Osweiler had a tasty match up Week 13 at San Diego and has another nice one Week 14 vs the Raiders

Running Backs Waiver Wire Week 14

ARI David Johnson (vs MINN )- A Recommended “Waiver Wire pick up Week 13- LINK– Johnson delivered for fantasy football owners who took my advice by rushing for 120 total yards and 1 touchdown-Only owned in 52% of Yahoo leagues

SF Shaun Draughn ( at CHI)- Also A Recommended “Waiver Wire pick up Week 13- LINK– but still only owned in 10% of Yahoo leagues. His week 13 wasn’t stellar…13 rushes for 36 yards but he did have a TD run

DET Theo Riddick- PPR- ( at ST L)- Riddick has quietly been a steady fantasy option for owners this season ( in PPR leagues anyways) averaging 5 catches per game- Riddick also has 3 receiving touchdowns

( if you’re crazy enough to guess) NE James White/ Brandon Bolden (at HOU)-  No one likes to mess with defenses ( and fantasy football owners) more than HC Bill Belichick. Any given week, either one of these guys can be a fantasy star or fantasy dud- I gave up trying to guess the NE backfield a while ago

Deeper Leagues- ARI Kerwynn Williams ( vs MINN)- RB David Johnson is the #1 running back in Arizona ( with Chris Johnson and A Ellington OUT) but HC B Arians will rotate in backs and Williams is the guy. 6 carries for 59 and 1 TD Week 14

Deep League Gamble- GB John Crockett- RBs Eddie Lacy & Alonzo Harris missed the Packers’ team curfew Wednesday night….Lacy was benched and Harris was cut. Lacy is in Mike McCarthy’s “doghouse” and could be dealing with more than a one-week benching. In his place Week 13, Crockett looked fast, eager to play and rushed 5 times for 22 yards in Green Bay’s Week 13 win over the Lions

With HD2HD playoffs locked up for some, this is the time to think about insurance RB HANDCUFFs-

PITT Jordan Todman …backing up RB DeAngelo Williams

NYJ Bilal Powell….handcuffing RB Chris Ivory

Wide Receiver Waiver Wire Week 14

MIA DeVante Parker ( vs NYG )- A Recommended “Waiver Wire pick up Week 13- LINK– With WR Rishard Matthews injured (fractured ribs) the Dolphins’ turned to first-round pick DeVante Parker as a starter Week 13- 63 receiving yards and 1 TD. He also has a great schedule going forward starting with the worst NFL defense vs the pass Week 14- the New York Giants

CAR Ted Ginn Jr- (vs ATL )- Amazingly, WR Ginn is only owned in 36% of Yahoo leagues, despite having 48 targets from QB Cam Newton in the past 6 games, resulting in 35 receptions, a bunch of yards and 3 TDs. His schedule for the rest of the year is tasty….ATL-NYG-ATL then TB

SEA Tyler Locket (at BALT)- Week 13 Waiver Wire included WR Doug Baldwin ( who delivered with 94 receiving yards and 2 TDs) but WR Tyler Lockett shouldn’t be ignored. 15 targets in the past 3 games, 176 receiving yards and 2 TD receptions

CINN  Marvin Jones (at PITT)- With TE Tyler Eifert shelved with an injured neck and no timetable yet for a return, fantasy football owners can revisit interest in WR Marvin Jones who will no doubt benefit from Eifert’s rehab- Jones had 5 receptions Week 13 for 55 yards and 1 TD

SD Malcolm Floyd ( at KC )- Injuries to WRs D Inman and Stevie Johnson Week 13 leaves Malcolm Floyd as the only healthy wide receiver in San Diego- UPDATE: Stevie Johnson has been declared OUT for Week 14

Other Wide Receiver considerations- BALT Chris Givens- NO Brandon Coleman

You should have already picked up SEA Doug Baldwin- PITT Markus Wheaton- Recommended “Waiver Wire pick up Week 13- LINK

Tight Ends Waiver Wire Week 14

GB Richard Rodgers ( vs DAL)- Even before his “Hail Mary” 61 yard TD reception which ended the game Week 13 vs Detroit Lame-os…TE Rodgers had 85 receiving yards on 7 receptions. QB Aaron Rodgers will continue to look for TE Rodgers, especially with WR Davante Adams dropping almost every pass thrown his way lately

NYG Will Tye (at MIA)- TE Larry Donnell (neck) hasn’t seen the field since Week 8, so TE Tye has filled in for him. If you saw the game Week 13, you saw that Tye has some pretty good hands, hauling in 3 receptions for 70 yards- He has 25 targets from QB Eli Manning in the past 4 games

TB Austin Seferian-Jenkin (vs N.O.)- In his game back from injury Week 13, Seferian-Jenkin was quickly targeted by QB J Winston 6 times. He has a delicious match up Week 14 vs the Saints- Only owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues

Deep leagues- SEA Luke Willson (at MIA)- The Seahawks are without TE Jimmy Graham (knee) OUT for the season, but that doesn’t mean they are without a good tight end. In 2014, Willson had 362 receiving yards and 3 TD receptions
